Lorna, or “Ma” as she was affectionately known, called Port Alberni her home for over 80 years with her husband, Hank, and their children. Her many interests included baking, knitting for both her family and the hospital auxiliary, crosswords, doing Tai Chi with her sisters. Lorna found her true soulmate with Hank, and they were always together as “Ma and Pa.” She was Hank’s biggest fan and would attend his many performances at the local LTC homes and charity events and was his official roadie. Lorna and Hank were also season ticket holders to the AV Bulldogs from the very first season and loved socializing with friends at the games. Lorna’s greatest love and proudest accomplishment was her family. She was happiest when she was able to have big family dinners that were always filled with lots of love, laughter and delicious food. She will be greatly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
