My heart aches so much I miss you, but adjusting to my life without you will be challenging I know it’s time to let you RIP

This was  1 of my favorite memories.  I made bbq dinner, we sat outside to enjoy the summer weather. 
We had such a good laugh so much that we had tears running down our face from laughing. 

I had to capture this moment and I am glad I did.

I decided to make a new years eve dinner. I made turkey and invited my siblings up for dinner.

As soon a Mike showed up he came straight into the kitchen to see what I needed help with. I asked him to carve the turkey. That is who Mike was, always helping in the kitchen. Every time I had a birthday dinner he would be thr first to come help me.

I asked Mike and sister to drive her to the airport in Vancouver.

Mike was always there for Kenzie. His last words to her was for her to learn how to use the embroidery machine and how to print patterns and iron it on to items.

I am glad I was able to capture this moment not only for the family also for My Maddy May when she gets older. She will have this photo to look back on.

As I was helping organize Mike took Belle so i could help.

This was when we went to a mall in the United States, I was getting tired of carrying Belle, Mike stepped in to take her. 

When Gladys had Meredith 6 months after Isabel was born.

Sister and Mike said once the girls are potty trained we are going to take them both for the day or even Adopted them both.

We were in the ferry on our way to Untied states to find some items for their wedding.

He was always stepping up help with Belle.

My son loved going to spend time with him auntie and uncle. My son would follow mike every where he went.

And this one is special, shows the bond with Jackie and Mike.
This happened in Ottawa, the whole gang was here to help celebrate Dolly’s birthday, one of the big birthdays.     Mike got up to read a tribute to Dolly, and was quite emotional.    Jackie went up to stand beside him and help him through the effort.    I really loved this show of affection between them.

And I could be mixed up with some of the details in this story, but the main thing was the love and support between Jackie and Mike.
A beautiful memory.

And I think my favourite photo of all !    This one I just copied from somewhere,   but just love it.    Mike was an exceptional guy,   he worked hard and cared about the people he loved.

Bernadine and Mike sent me this family photo.

This is another part of Mike's family as well.   He was pretty young at that time, barely out of his teens.
This was at Dolly and Brian's wedding,  Mike is in the front row standing.

This was taken on our last trip to BC.   Mike and Bernadine came down to Victoria to see us !     Mike was such a great guy,   so caring, so thoughtful.    Even though we live across the country,  he would write me a note . Messenger  ' Hi Auntie,   how are you ?  Two or three times a year !   He'd ask about his cousins too.

Tsawwassen Mills I think was in April or May 2024 our last trips to the mainland together ❤️  I will miss you so much my love it hurts real bad. We were shopping for smaller clothes for the both of us
