Rob is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Bertha, his son Mike (Crystal), his granddog, Luna, his siblings Rick (Vicki), Nancy Caldwell (Ken), and Norm. He was predeceased by his sister Norma. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Larry Lorenz (Kathy Toynbee) and sister-in-law Marilyn Serson (Dale).
Rob worked at the Youbou Sawmill until its closure in 2001. He was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and archery. You could find him exploring the back roads on his quad, or on his boat with a smile on his face at Port Renfrew. Above all, he valued and cherished time spent with his family and close friends. He loved his wife, son and daughter-in-law from the depths of his heart and soul.
As per Rob’s wishes, there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rob’s memory can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
