Juan Manuel Morales, whose greatest love was serving the Lord Jesus Christ for the past 38 years, went to be in His presence on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He had been retired for the past few years but had previously been employed by The Halliburton Company for 35 years followed by eight years with Texas A&M University.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Olga Rios Morales, who was the love of his life; he also has two sons, Manuel Morales (Jim Mitchell) from Dallas, Texas and Johnny Morales (Ben Davis) of Dallas, Texas. He was a proud grandfather of the following grandchildren—Jonathan David Morales (Selena) from Arlington, Texas; Christopher Daniel Morales (Savannah) from Cedar Hill, Texas; Gabriella Evonne Morales from Dallas, Texas; and Jessica Mercedes Morales from Mansfield, Texas; and great grandfather of Julian Manuel Morales—siblings Delores Morales, Gloria Vittonel, Jose Angel Morales, Michael Morales (Victoria), Jenna Overacker (Jon), Paul Morales (Martha) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by Jaime Morales, father; Paulina Gomez, mother; and Jaime Morales, brother; and Mariah Faith Morales, great granddaughter.
Viewing will be from 6pm – 8pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018, at Southwest Harvest Church, Duncanville, Texas. A memorial service will be held at Southwest Harvest Church, Duncanville, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018. Interment will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Ministers officiating the services are Mike Morse, Chris Gutierrez and Mark Lovato. Pallbearers are Jonathan D. Morales, Christopher Daniel Morales, Alfredo M. Acarto, Roy Vittonel, Jr., Joshua Morales, Paul Morales, Jr., Delino Morales, Robert Cobb, Jr., and honorary pallbearers Justin Cobb and Tyler Cobb.
