Margaret was born in 1921 to Dr. and Mrs. Mills Dennis of Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester L. Henley of Duncanville, a brother, Franklin Dennis originally from Cleburne.
She is survived by her daughter, Carole A Jones of Duncanville,TX; a son, Ted F Henley Sr. of Gun Barrel City, TX. , 5 grandchildren; Kim Jones Mock, Scott Henley, Alan Jones, TJ Henley and Dennis Henley, and 6 great grandchildren .
Margaret was a 1939 graduate of Cleburne HS and attended the University of Texas. During WWII while her husband, Chester, was with the US Navy in the Pacific, Margaret worked in Ft Worth, TX building B-24 Liberator bombers for the war effort. She was very proud to be part of a group known as "Rosie the Riveter".
During the Korean War while her husband was in the army, she moved to Tokyo, Japan so the family could be close together.
She was a lifelong Christian and a member of Southgate Fellowship Church in Duncanville.
A Memorial Service will be held September 30th at 3:00 pm at Southgate Fellowship, 1600 S Main St, Duncanville, TX.
