Heather Dianne Osborne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Heather Osborne, on May 31st, 2025, at the Hamilton General hospital surrounded by family. She will be remembered by her loving husband James of 50 years, her children Angela (Dave), Stephanie (Scott), Bradley (Elizabeth), Kathryn, and her many grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Heather proudly retired from the Catholic school board after 20 years of dedicated service, as a cleaner at Bishop Ryan school. After retirement she found her passion for knitting and crocheting, where she knit countless blankets, stuff animals and everything in between for her kids and grandchildren. Heather was also an avid gardener, taking great pride in her beautiful gardens filled with every colour of flower you can imagine.

A special thank you to the staff and Doctors for the care and compassion throughout Heather’s stay at the Hamilton General, as well as the Doctors and Specialists at Juravinski Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

A visitation will be held at Marlatt funeral home, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Marlatt funeral home, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 11:00am. As per Heathers wishes, cremation will take place following with a private interment.
