Dr. Jack Walker

Passed away peacefully at Watford Quality Care Centre on Sunday July 6, 2014 in his 92nd year. Much loved husband of Doris Kathleen (nee Allingham) (predeceased). Father of Susan Walker, and Cynthia MacNeil and her husband Harry, and Grandfather of Wesley and Dylan MacNeil. Survived by his brother Dr. V.C. Rowan Walker and his wife Dorla. Graduated in Medicine from Queens University in 1945. In Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps from 1941 to 1946. Practiced Internal Medicine at McGregor Clinic and St. Joseph’s Hospital from 1951 to his retirement in January 1993. Member of Central Presbyterian Church. Past Master of Masonic Lodge of Strict Observance #27 and Scottish Rite 32°. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by family at the Marlatt Funeral Home, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Sunday, July 20 from 6-8 pm and on Monday, July 21 from 10-11 am. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 11 am.
