Josephine Mary Sciullo

SCIULLO (CALCAGNO) JOSEPHINE M. 90, of Dunedin, Florida, formerly of Pittsburgh, PA (Bloomfield), died peacefully at the Suncoast Hospice Care Center, Palm Harbor, Florida on Thursday, September 19, 2013.

Josephine was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. Her family drew from her sweet and kind-hearted nature, her compassion towards others and her devotion to those she loved. She was always called on to make her pizzelles and Italian Wedding Soup for the holidays and special occasions. Her three sons adored her.

Josephine was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ralph A. Sciullo, her parents, Anthony and Ann Calcagno, her siblings, Selma Pelusi, Madeline Klimovich, Paul Calcagno and Ann Graziano. She is survived by her sons, Frank A. Sciullo, Rafael J. Sciullo and Richard P. (Mary Anne) Sciullo; grandchildren, Bryan Sciullo, Kimberly (Patrick) Shepard, Sara and Erica Sciullo; great grandchild, Larissa Shepard,; caregiver, Georgeen McCreary and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6- 8 pm at Winter Funeral Home, 4730 Friendship Ave, Pittsburgh, PA. Services will be held at 10 am, Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
