Billy Harold McCorquodale, 87, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023. Billy is the son of the late William and Ila Ward McCorquodale. He is preceded in death by his girlfriend of 23 years, Betty Adcock and his eight siblings.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Renae Robinson (Chris) of Stedman, NC, Regina McCorquodale of Roswell, GA, and Sonya Wingate (Eddie) of Rockport, TX; his son Shawn McCorquodale (Jessica) of Sparta, NC. Billy also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Billy was a retired truck driver for Borden Chemicals in Fayetteville, NC. He loved to go dancing with Betty, and spending time with his Dog Maze. He also enjoyed doing yardwork.
The service for Billy will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11 AM at Cromartie-Miller Funeral Home in Dunn, NC. There will be a visitation for family and friends before the service from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM, with a burial after the service at Old Bluff Cemetery. Officiated by Pastor Lynn McLaurin.
