Dunn, NC Mr. Charles William Vann, Sr., age 65, of 290 Vann Lane, Dunn died Thursday August 27, 2015 at his home. Mr. Vann was born in Harnett County on February 21, 1950 the son of the late Clawson William Vann and Josephine Strickland Vann. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald Haire and Rev. Everette Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow in Pineland Cemetery in Dunn. He is survived by: 2 Sons: Charles W. Vann, Jr. & (partner) Angel of Dunn, NC Matthew Allen Vann & (wife) Jennie of Erwin, NC 2 Daughters: Sylvia Elaine Vann & Rhonda K. Vann both of Dunn, NC 3 Sisters: Rebecca Norden & (husband) Walter of Dunn, NC Connie Naylor & (husband) Howard of Dunn, NC Pam Johnson & (husband) Michael of Dunn, NC Grandchildren: Daniel Bowden, Jr., Chelsey Bowden, Samantha Vann, Nicole Vann, Emily Vann & Tristen Fitchett The Mother of his Children: Marie Chance The family will receive friends Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at Cromartie Miller Funeral Home in Dunn and at other times at the home.
