Mrs. Jean Jackson Lee, age 78 of Fairground Rd., Dunn died Sunday June 1, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Mrs. Lee was born January 27, 1936 in Sampson Co. the daughter of the late Cosby & Elzie Jackson and is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Billy Jackson, Johnny Jackson & Jimmy Jackson and 4 sisters, Betty Hartley, Clipso Hudson, Edna Buckley & Trudy Tomberlian. Jean was a seamstress sewing from her home for the public. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Cromartie Miller & Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Leon Tart officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Surviving includes: Her husband: Elmond Moses Lee of the home. A Son: Edward Keith Lee & (wife) April of Angier, NC A Daughter: Kathy L. Holmes & (husband) Randy of Dunn, NC 2 Brothers: Laud "Bug" Jackson & (wife) Barbara of Dunn, NC and Hugh Jackson & (wife) Sylvia of Dunn, NC Grandchildren: Molly Holmes, Sara Holmes, Jane Lee & Owen Lee The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cromartie Miller & Lee Funeral Home in Dunn.
