I was sorry to learn of Charlie's death.
He was s a true gentleman. He and I had many political science classes and many discussions about politics at NU. A true scholar. Our prayers are with you.

The world lost another one of the "good guys" with Charlie's passing.  I cherish our friendship and will miss his smile.  My prayers go to Teri and the entire Donner family.

Charlie was a man whose character was as close to one of Christ's Apostles as one could get. He was a devoted Catholic with a strong Faith that influenced everyone he touched. We have been parishioners with you for 40 years at St. Greg's. Betsy and Jen were classmates. 
We are so sorry to read about Charlie's passing. He was always so right-minded: cherished his family, and was a lector at church for many years. 
He got my husband involved in the Olympia Health Club downtown, where they worked out together. Who could ever forget our Family to Family Christmases or the Jello Splash Event to support Leukemia research?
We are in Florida for the season, and not able to be with you now. Prayers to St. Francis Xavier for all, since his feast day is Sunday.
