Joan Marie Linde

Born in Buffalo, NY on September 26, 1934, died on March 30, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Roman and Mary Dengler . sister of the late William and Richard. Beloved wife of the late Richard C. Linde; loving mother of Richard (Kathy) Linde, Judith (Charles) LeFevre , Robert (Diane) Linde and Molly (Earle) Test. Dearly loved grandmother of Tom (Llewellyn), Adam, and Alex (Tony) Bullers, Charlie (Sarah) and Katie LeFevre, Donald and Anna Linde. Great grandmother to Ebbett and Odella Bullers, and Tate Annable Bullers. Joan was a lifelong friend and special aunt to the Murty family.

Joan was the bookkeeper for the family business, Linde and Gray Heating, raised her family and later joined the workforce again as a clerk for Budget Rent-A-Car, reluctantly retiring at the age of 80. Joan was a member of the St. Mary’s in Swormville for fifty nine years. She was a member of Swormville Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary for over fifty years. Joan loved cooking, talking on the phone, reading, watching football and especially spending time with her family. Rest in peace Mom, you will be dearly missed. Friends may call Sunday 2-6 pm at the Dengler Roberts Perna Funeral Home 8630 Transit Rd., East Amherst. Friends may join in a Mass of Christian Burial from St Mary’s Chapel, 6919 Transit Road, Swormville, Monday at 10:00am. Flowers Gratefully declined memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
