Dick Page and his family were one of the best neighbors a person could have.  Always willing to lend a hand and take are of many small requests we asked of him over 40 years ago when we moved to our Clarence Center home.  His smile at church services during this past year inspired me and deepened my faith.  He will be missed.  R.I.P. Richard Page.

Dear Karen and members of the Page family,
I wish to express my deepest condolences and feelings of loss to all of you. I first met Dick shortly after he opened Woodstream.  My company and its owner recognized his artistry and passion for his work. We awarded him the first of several commercial contracts. I had the privilege to work closely with him over the years and had him landscape two of my homes. Retired now, I’ve kept one of his complete landscape drawings framed and on the wall of my office. To me it’s a true piece of art from a old friend. I will never forget his soft spoken, kind manor and  his attention to every detail no matter the size of the project. All who knew and worked with Dick will forever miss him. God bless and keep all of you.

Dear Karen, Eric, Lisa and Randy, my deepest condolences to you and your families.  
I was honored to have known Dick Page for nearly 30 years and am grateful for everything he did for me and my career.   He was one of the most hardworking individuals I have met who not only ran a successful business, but made a tremendous impact on entrepreneurship in the WNY community.   It was through his hours of hard work and passion to help others that formulated the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL) into a self-supporting entity.  He strived to help others, including others involved in small to medium sized businesses, and was directly involved with creating and launching UB’s Family Business Center.  
Dick was a member of the CEL board and I always looked forward his attendance as he brought an overwhelming amount of fresh ideas, energy and enthusiasm to every single meeting.  He was one of the most loyal, dedicated and trustworthy members and we were so lucky to have him involved.    
Throughout the years I was fortunate to know Dick and his family.  I looked forward to the stories he shared about his travels with Karen either on land with the RV or by sea in their boat.  He certainly had a very rich and fulfilling life.
Anyone who crossed paths with Dick was very lucky and his selflessness, genuineness and kindness will never be forgotten.


Karen & family - we were so happy to see Dick was able to come back to Myrtle Trace this past year.    He was a class act - always willing to help & we will always remember his smile.  Our sincere condolences on the loss of a great man.

Many happy memories of 60+ years' friendship.  Dick's sense of humor and selflessness toward others is a rare quality.  We met as neighbors and Dick was our Paper Boy!  We shared much of our young adult years and beyond together as members of the KHS Swim Team; were Psi Delta Omega fraternity brothers and  studied Horticulture at Alfred State College;  were business partners and best of friends.  Although not related, I feel as though I've lost a brother.  
We will miss you, our Dear Friend, until we meet again.

My condolences to Karen, Lisa, Eric and Randy and their families.  So sad at the passing of our beloved Dick Page.  I was privileged to work with Dick for almost 30 years, 15 of them very closely as his general/office manager.  We kidded that we saw each other more than we saw our spouses.  Dick was one of the most positive, caring, driven & good men I have ever known.  Even on the worst days he would find a way to turn it around.  When I saw his white van come flying in the parking lot, I knew the day would get better.  He would take on the worst customer or business issue and thrive on the challenge, saying with a smile... lets go for it and fix it!  He loved Woodstream and treated his employees almost like family.  He led by example and never hesitated to get in the trenches (down & dirty)!  His family was his true pride and joy.  A day never went by without a story of what his precious grandkids had been up to.  In his busy schedule he gladly found time to attend their school events - even in May!  When Dick got sick, he was more worried about others than himself.  He consoled us & hugged away our tears saying that he was content with the life God had given him.  He said he was happy to have such a full life & blessed to live out his dreams.  The way Dick encouraged others, Dick's wonderful smile and his strong faith in God are a few of the things that I will always cherish!
