Frances J. Norcia

NORCIA- Frances. J. (nee Sceusi) of East Aurora, NY. Passed away suddenly at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo on Friday, May 24. She was 88 years old. Frances married John J. Norcia on November 24, 1956 and they spent 67 inseparable years together. He predeceased her on June 24, 2024. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her sons James and Joseph. Frances is survived by her loving children John T. (Debi), Nancy (Steven) Stoll, Jerome (Deborah) and daughter-in-law Gretchen; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Frances worked for many years at Fisher Price and later at Aurora Park Nursing Home. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Fran was a woman of deep faith, soft spoken and very kind. She welcomed all into her home with great hospitality and all her home cooked meals, that everyone wanted and asked for. She devoted time to celebrate all birthdays and holidays to make each person feel incredibly special and loved. Fran’s greatest joy was spending time and growing a strong bond with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Fran was a “village walker” for over 40 years with her husband, John. A Celebration of Fran's Life will be held Wednesday 5-8 PM at Bruno's, 5259 Broadway, Lancaster. A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 520 Oakwood Ave., East Aurora. Arrangements were made by Wood Funeral Home.
