Mike our brother-in-law will never be forgotten . He was always there when you needed him , he was a master of all trades but most importantly he was a true family man with so much love .  He not only loved and married my sister but he also married her whole family who loved him more than he knew .

This past week my Uncle Mike passed away. This man was more amazing that words can explain. He has taught me so many things in my life to help mold me into the man I am. And the best part that he didn’t know was he taught me things by just me watching him. He showed me how a husband should love his wife by loving my Aunt Amy.  He showed me how to be a dad by loving his son Jon and his daughter Laura (whom they chose me to be her Godfather).  Uncle Mike Roth thank you for  everything and I can’t wait to see you again.


I will greatly miss seeing Mike at Reinstein Woods and at other outreach events! Sending hugs to Jon and his family.  💚 

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mike. May the Peace of God be with you all during this difficult time.  



May you ride your motorcycle throughout the heavens and show me the cool places when I get there. Will miss you, until we meet again.

Mike I will miss our conversations we had at outreach events and during and after searches. You sir were as professional as they come and NFSAR was a better team because of all of your hard work and effort. 

I could tell you truly loved helping people and also being in the outdoors and I consider myself one of the lucky ones to have known you.

Sharing my deepest condolences to the Roth family, and appreciation for what Mike has done for myself and the many scouts of Troop 290 over the many years. What an impact. He will be missed dearly.

My deepest sympathies to your family Mike, I think back to growing up and there isn't a memory that doesn't have you in it. We spent hundreds of hours hanging out together, inner tubing down buffalo creek, football in the back yard with the neighborhood kids, riding bikes and having camp outs in the tepee. Growing up with you was truly a blessing, even though we didn't stay in contact as adults my heart is saddened by your passing. See you soon my friend, rest in peace. Lisa


I was Mike’s babysitter way back when and he was the easiest baby ever to take care of and a good thing too because I was only 11 years old! I had the privilege to watch him grow up as our family was and still is very close. After moving to Florida and starting a family of my own, my children JJ, Angie and myself would come to visit the Roth family every summer. We would hike through the cornfields and walk in the steam. One time we found clay and brought it back to the house much to the chagrin of my sister Pat! We certainly had a lot of fun adventures! One summer Mike was required to dress like a girl for Scouts and I got to help him with his “makeup”! I seem to remember laughing so hard I was in tears!
I’m sure that my parents were so happy to see him in Heaven! Mike will be dearly missed by our whole family! My deepest sympathy.

I have so many memories of Uncle Mike and the family! Swimming in the pool, riding the go-cart, ice skating on the pond, our annual Conesus lake trip for Labor Day, tubing and skiing off the boat, letting us drive the boat, bonfires and parties and so much more! Most recently, the  way he was with Blake at Laura’s shower. He took him to the back yard to see the pool and he was so understanding with Blake's meltdown. I send my love to all the family.

       There is no way that  I can convey to you, how devastated I am for you and the rest of Mike’s family, at this time of unspeakable loss. May the unbearable pain  of his physical absence, some day be replaced by a smile, while reminiscing about wonderful memories of the past. My love to you all.

Mike was always a solid guy that you could count on. In our Boy Scout troop ( where Mike was an Eagle Scout), we often went camping together in good weather or snow. Mike was always prepared, and if you got lucky, you got to share a tent with him. During winter camping , in the morning our boots would be frozen solid, and he was always good for a laugh while we tried to thaw them out. He would wear his goose down vest that he made in home ec class (and it looked store bought- he made it from scratch), and say, “hold’er Knewt, you packed too much stuff”.
  Mike was a great guy. If he told you something, you could take that to the bank.  He is deeply missed.

Mike was a friend of mine, but more than that, he was a good man, a pillar of the community, and most of all he was the best of us. I am still trying to find the words to make sense of any of this. the world is a lesser place without him and I'm going to miss my friend. My sincerest and deepest condolences go out to his family.

It was our privilege to know this amazing, kind hearted man.  His devotion to his family, friends, town and community was so apparent.
Our deepest, sincere sympathy is extended to his loving family. Mike will be so missed. We wish you peace.
