I just found out Bob Passed on. I worked with Bob for many years at M&T and had many wonderful conversations with him. Loved running in to him in EA as well. I still remember, and talk about, a program he and I designed for meeting to have fun and "Break the Ice" before meetings started. I still think about that often. May Bob rest in peace.

RIP to "Buffalo" Bob Young. What else can I say about him? If you know,...you know. The five  Keg families of Patterson-Kaye Lodge in Muskoka
 ( no, we're not the Canadian Mafia) Speirans, Melbers, Shaws, Sheehys, and Kipfers, will always remember Bob fondly. PK was a special place to make memeories and friends and we just kind of adopted Bob into our circle.  He would join us for after-hours hot tubbing, golf, horseshoe and shuffleboard tournaments, and who could ever forget his appearance as the groundskeeper in a chicken suit in our talent show entry?  Always looked forward to meeting up with Bob and the girls every year at PK,  in that second week of July. We'd catch up on what happened over the past year, then settle in to having fun. That's the Bob Young I remember. The best US ambassador to Canada ever!

My sincere condolences to the Young family and friends .  The Similes remember Robert so vividly displaying his beach sand engineering prowess with his marble castle and his never ending smile and enthusiasm.  Such an easily likeable and wonderful man that is gone too soon.   Thanks for making summer Pk lodge trips in Bracebridge Canada so unforgettable.   Dan Jenifer Joseph Juliana and Jon-Anthony.

Fair winds, Bob. We will miss your weekend, live-aboard d presence at the marina in Celoron. I will personally miss your wit, your charm, and yes, your spell-check and grammar corrections of our written texts. We shared our love of dogs, cold beer, cheeseburgers and deep conversation.  You had a style that could not be copied and a presence well beyond your stature. “Dragonfly”will continue to sail in your honor on Lake Chautauqua.

I will miss my dear friend of 40 years, Godfather to our son, (ok autocorrect typed “sin”) fellow Rotarian, sailing partner, Buffalo Bills game partner (We were really at the Houston comeback game together and didn’t leave because…we had a full beer). We raised our children together and our memories remain most precious. See ya at church RDY

Owners and staff at The Bookworm & BW Gifts send their condolences to Bob’s family and many friends. The sun was always shining when Bob walked through that door. With his quick wit and sense of humor no matter the mood before, when Bob left it was lightened. Carry on in peace our friend, you will be greatly missed.

Sending my most sincere condolences. Bobby always made life fun. He loved deeply and always found the silver lining in life. And my goodness, he made magic happen with the toy closet! I still remember the absolute whimsy that created as a child. He was my father's best friend, my sister's godfather and a loved family member to us all. Wishing Bob eternal peace and love.
