

February 1, 2015, of East Aurora, NY, age 95, beloved husband of the late Rosalie Emma (nee Fattey); dearest father of Mark, Barbara, Lyndall Judd of Burlington, KY, Laurence (Lisa), T. Jeffrey (Sherry), and Virginia; dear brother of Paul (Lucille) of Snyder and Margery Wilson of Woodsboro, MD; devoted companion of Barbara Mack; also survived by ten grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Becker was a retired teacher from Erie 1 BOCES and a former employee of Moog Valve. A long-time usher at Immaculate Conception Church in East Aurora, he was past president of the Holy Name Society and a religious education instructor for the school. He was also a member of the Buffalo Council Knights of Columbus and St. Vincent dePaul Society.
Mr. Becker was also a member of the Town of Wales Republican Club and the Wales Conservation Board Advisory Committee. For many years he was a scout leader for Boy Scouts of America East Aurora Troop 599. During his retirement, Mr. Becker served as a volunteer at Meals on Wheels for 20 years. His late father, Ted Becker, Sr., was owner and administrator of Pine Hollow Camp in the Town of Wales, which operated from 1939 to 1981.
The family will be present to receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St., East Aurora. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 520 Oakwood Ave., East Aurora. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted’s memory to Catholic Charities of Buffalo.
