Loving husband of Joanne (nee Nolan) Musty. Dear father of James (Diane), Robert (Jill), David (Jeanne) Musty, Julie (Wayne) Lemke, Michelle Braun, Herman Musty, Jeanne (David) Heckmiller, Cynthia (Glenn) Wetzl, George Daniel (Judy), Denis (Colleen), and Richard (Diane) Donnelly; grandfather of 25 and great-grandfather of 21. Brother of Marion (Alton) Calvert, and the late Julian (late Joan) Marzolf. Friends may call on Tuesday, January 1st from 1-5 PM at the Wood Funeral Home, 784 Main St., (E. Aurora, NY) where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Walter graduated from East Aurorra High School,where he played football and continued to play semi-pro in 1947. He was a retired contractor from his own business, operated a Maple Syrup Farm and was a Harness Racehorse Owner and breeder of Must B Stables.He loved to hunt in sugarbush woods and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who will be sadly missed.
