William A. Kapatos

William A. Kapatos December 4, 1952 – February 17, 2025. Affectionately known as Bill, Wild Bill or recently known as Thor. Bill was born in Buffalo, NY to Gregory and Doris Kapatos and was raised in Elma on King Rd where he lived his whole life. Bill is survived by his three children that he raised with Lorraine; Alexander (Irene) Kapatos, Phillip (Danielle) Kapatos and Dennis (Monica) Kapatos and grandchildren Aislynn, Analese, Allianna, Luke, Kayla, Will, Athens and soon to be baby boy in early May. He was the eldest of 6 siblings; Gail (Paul Wagner) Gonzalez, Arthur Kapatos, Peggy (Larry) Erny, Roger (Eva) Kapatos and the late Gregory Kapatos. Bill was a master carpenter where he worked side by side with his cousin Ronnie remodeling homes and businesses all over Western NY for 50 plus years. Bill loved fishing and tinkering in his garage and having fun with all his close family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to visit WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 784 Main St. East Aurora,NY on Friday, March 21st, 2025 from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Cecilia's Roman Catholic Church, 991 Centerline Rd. in Strykersville, NY at 11am on Saturday, March 22nd. Inurnment St. Cecelia’s Cemetery. Lunch to follow after services.
