Allan David Guilford, 88, husband of the late Gail Guilford passed away on January 4, 2026. He was born December 3, 1937 in Middletown, CT a son of the late F. Morse and Ellen (Macomber) Guilford. Allan was a resident of Brooklyn, Connecticut.allan graduated East Hartford High School in 1955 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines form 1959 - 1963. Upon returning home he became a mechanic and owned a couple of service stations in Bolton and was the automotive teacher at Windham Tech in Willimantic for 10 years.
Allan is survived by a sister-in-law, Sue Tefft, a step-son Peter Masterson, brother-in-law Tony Galeota (Nancy), several nieces and nephews as well as close friends; Paul Bengtson and Skip and Sue Koch all of Easton, MA.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 11am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford, CT.
