Arthur James Brozowsky Sr.

Arthur James Brozowsky, Sr., 74, of East Hartford, more recently of Tolland, passed away on August 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 21, 1940, in Hartford a son of the late William and Mary (Kozma) Brozowsky.

Arthur attended & graduated from East Hartford High School, he was an active member of the Hornets football team, #18.

Arthur proudly served in the United States Air Force. He was employed by Pratt & Whitney and Aetna Life & Casualty Ins. Co.

He was a faithful communicant of St. Mary Church in Coventry and a Eucharistic Minister for The Church of the Holy Family in Hebron for many years.

Arthur was a loving and devoted father, husband, grandfather, and godfather. He dedicated his time and energy to his family to give them a better life.

He is preceded in death by his brothers William Brozowsky and his wife Jerry, Francis Brozowsky, nephew James Brozowsky Jr.

He will be dearly missed by his children; Arthur Brozowsky Jr. of East Hartford, daughters Patty St.Laurent and her husband David of East Hartford, Debra Rosendahl and her husband PJ of CO., Christina Kosswig and her husband Joshua of Unionville, Michelle Brozowsky of Tolland, Mary Brozowsky , Beki O’Neil and her husband Brandon of Willimantic, 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Arthur is also survived by his 2 brothers; Donald and his wife Vicki, James and his wife Patti, former wife Nancy Caye and her husband Bob, and former wife Lorraine DuBois.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, August 19th, 6-9pm at Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford CT 06108. Services will begin at 9am at the funeral home on Thursday August 20th, followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 15 Maplewood Ave., East Hartford. Burial with military honors to conclude services in St. Mary Cemetery.
