Arthur E LeBlanc

He was born on 10/4/49 in Hudson, MA to the late Leo LeBlanc and to Bernadine O’Brien Janco. He graduated and attended East Catholic High School. Moving to East Hartford in 1969 and then to South Windsor in 1981. He resided in South Windsor for 32 years. Mr. LeBlanc was employed by The United States Postal Service retiring after 38 years. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather always available for guidance and for a good hiking or biking trip. He enjoyed running and being outside enjoying nature.

He is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughter Jennifer L. Kirk and her husband Benjamin of Simsbury, CT, his sister Cheryl Mader of South Windsor, CT, his brother Anthony Janco and his wife Kathy of Hudson, NH. Arthur’s granddaughter Ellie Kirk and grandson Ethan Kirk will dearly miss their “Papa” reading stories. His nephews Nicholas Mader and wife Sarah, Christopher Mader and wife Catherine, Stephen Janco and wife Kelly, and Kyle Janco. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

Calling hours will be Thursday, 2/28/13 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home on 318 Burnside Ave, East Hartford, CT. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, 3/1/13, at 10:00am, at St. Francis of Assisi Church in South Windsor, CT followed with a burial services in East Center Cemetery Manchester, CT.
