Bernice Pensak

Bernice was born in NYC to the late John and Anna (Niechniedowicz) Buturla. She lived most of her life in Syosset, Long Island, NY where she was an active parishioner at St. Edward the Confessor RC Church before moving to Glastonbury, CT in 1996. Always busy at work or at home, Bernice was above all a loving wife and mother devoted to her family.

Bernice is survived by her children, Lorraine Stasiw and her husband, Paul Stasiw; Robert Pensak, and Thomas Pensak and his wife, Theresa. Her beloved grandchildren were a great source of pride and happiness; Adam and Gregory Stasiw, Daniel Pensak and Natalie and Emily Pensak. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Fogarty, and nephew, Charles Fogarty.

In addition to her parents and her cherished husband, Bernice is predeceased by her siblings; Micky, John and Mary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at St. Paul Church, 2577 Main St., Glastonbury at 10 am. Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY at a later date.
