

Born Feb 5, 1962 to Harry J and Elizabeth M Timmerman. Passed away May 23, 2024 in Hartford Hospital after a long illness. A miracle baby at birth who survived and was very much loved by her family and friends. Graduate of ROTC program in Manchester and also received diploma from Penny High school 1983.
Worked at The Ground Round Restaurant and Manchester Community College food service. Kathleen was a devout member of The East Hartford Jehovah Witness Hall and a lifelong resident of East Hartford. Leave’s behind her brother Henry Timmerman of Glastonbury, Sister Mary T. Perry of Mashpee, Ma. Nephew David Bishop his wife Kim and grand nephews Dylan and Noah. Niece Laura Perry of Southwick, Ma. And Nephew Matthew Perry of Mashpee, MA. Aunt Sister MaryJane Timmermans of Convent Station, NJ. Kathleen was a life long partner to her mother Elizabeth Timmerman who passed away March of 2023. They traveled the globe together and throughout the US. Kathy was a sweet soul who played the organ in her early years. Had an admiration for WFSB weather and newscasters and remembers her meet and greets with many of them. Loved many pets along the way, especially Roxie her Maine Coon cat who was cared for by her loving friends Barbara and Paul during many hospitalizations. Much of her strength and support has come from her spiritual family, who provided her with twice weekly meals for over a year and a half. A devout Jehovah Witness who was a member of South Windsor Hall. A special Thank you to Brother Kelvin Lowe. Family would like to express their deep gratitude to all the members of the hall for their love and support of Kathleen and to the Salmon Brook Nursing home.
Burial and graveside service will take place on Saturday June 29 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rocky Hill at 11am. Friends invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers/or/Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the activity fund at Salmon Brook Nursing home in Glastonbury.
