Mary Jane Gagnon

She was born May 10, 1927 in Quebec to Eugene and Evelyn (Dakota) Blanchard. She was a loving mother and wife who cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed horse racing, cards, bingo, dancing and music. She will be most remembered for her outgoing nature and love of people.

Mary Jane is survived by her 4 daughters, Jackie Rheaume and her husband Roger of East Hartford, Mary Jane Coster of East Hartford, Dianne McCarthy of Florida, Carole Gagnon of Hartford; her 2 sons, Paul Gagnon of Las Vegas and Robert Gagnon of Hartford; her sisters Giselle Cormier of Vernon; her grandchildren Laurie Caines, Jenna Bacewicz, Nicole, Matthew Rheaume and Jason Rheaume; her great grandchildren Blake, Will, Levi, Logan and Luke. In addition to her husband and parents, Mary Jane was predeceased by her son Robert C. Gagnon.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 8:00am, on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Hillside Cemetery with Father Timothy Ryan presiding. Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home are in care of arrangements.
