

Ronald L. Harvill, 54, of East Hartford, went home to be with our Lord and Savior, on June 4, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was the beloved husband for 30 years of Christine (Horan)Harvill. He was born in Anchorage, Alaska, a son of the late William R. and Elizabeth (Donnally) Harvill of South Carolina.
Ronald was a graduate of Santa Rita High School in Tucson, AZ and moved to Connecticut in 1981, living here in East Hartford for 30 years.
He was a proud veteran having served in the United States Air Force and he was employed by Signature Flight Support in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. Ronald was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Manchester, active in missionary outreach activities and coordinator of MACC Food Pantry donations. He was a loving husband and devoted father.
In addition to his wife Christine, and his mother Elizabeth, Ronald will be dearly missed by his children, his daughter Ashley, and sons Kevin and Brian and his fiancée Elizabeth Calabrese all of East Hartford, two brothers, David and his wife Kathleen of South Carolina and Daren and his wife Anna of Georgia, one beloved granddaughter, Samantha, his mother and father in law, Corinne Horan of East Hartford and the late William P. Horan Sr., his nieces Stephanie Eggert and her husband Chris of Georgia and Gillian Grace of East Hartford, his nephews Shaun Harvill and his wife Rebecca of Georgia, Steven Harvill and his wife Jennifer of South Carolina, Daniel Harvill and his wife Michelle of Georgia and William P. Horan III of East Hartford, great nieces Haley Harvill of South Carolina and Gracie Eggert of Georgia, great nephews Steven Harvill and Jackson Harvill, both of South Carolina and Kaden Eggert and Jonah Eggert both of Georgia, his brothers in law, William P. Horan Jr. and his wife Laurel of East Hartford and numerous beloved friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 7:00PM at the First Baptist Church of Manchester, 240 Hillstown Rd. Manchester, CT. There are no calling hours.
