Yolanda Kim Willis 50, of Hartford passed away on Saturday August 14, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Yolanda was born Oct. 31, 1959 daughter of John Dean Willis and Barbara Theresa Freeman. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from University of Connecticut . She was a data entry clerk for Data-Mail Inc. in Newington, CT.
She is survived by her son Derek Hall of Hartford: her father John Willis of LaGrange, NC: her mother Barbara Willis of Hartford: a sister LaTanya Nkonoki, her husband Jonathan and their children Taylor, Jessica and Jonathan Nkonoki Jr. all of Middletown.
Funeral Services will be Friday (Aug 20th) at 10 a.m. in the Newkirk & Whitney Funeral Home, 318 Burnside Ave., East Hartford. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Her family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday (Aug 19th) from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
