Ann was a great friend to many people from all the different parts of her life. A lifelong Okemos resident, she maintained friendships formed during her school years. Neighbors and co-workers became friends quickly because of Ann's welcoming nature.
As owner of Walnut Creek Stables, Ann touched many lives. Ann had a kind heart and shared her time and skills willingly. She helped children develop a love of horses and she supported the people who boarded at Walnut Creek. A group called “the cowgirl posse” remains friends to this day. Summers at Torch Lake also gave Ann a great group of friends. Being able to relax at her camper, enjoy the sunshine, and party with friends made Ann so very happy.
In the words of her beloved Grateful Dead, “What a long, strange trip it’s been.”

A memorial service will be at her home at 1pm on March 15, 2025. All are welcome.
