Beatrice B. Rosas, age 84 of East Lansing, Michigan passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. She was born September 9, 1936 in Carrizo Springs, Texas the daughter of Jesus and Celestina (Samora) Banda.
Beatrice enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. She loved to garden and take care of her flowers and vegetable gardens. Beatrice especially loved caring for her family and friends with cooking and canning things she grew. Going up north and spending time on her property was a favorite pastime.
She is survived by 6 children, Arturo Rosas, Jr., Luis (Mary) Rosas, Manuel Rosas, Juanita (Craig) Meister, Maria (Ed Glanz) Rosas and Armando (Renee) Rosas; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 51 years, Arthur Rosas, Sr. and her son, Roberto Rosas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 26, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 955 Alton Road, East Lansing, Michigan 48823 with visiting from 10:00-11:00 am at the church prior to Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sparrow Hospital directed to the staff of the 7th floor COVID Unit (1215 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI 48912) to be used for something special as a thank you for the loving care they offer their patients.
