Caroline Suzanne Ballard, age 29. With heavy hearts we share in the loss of our daughter, sister, mother, Caroline. She was a free spirit and had a sweet and caring soul. She will be remembered for her love and laughter, sense of humor, her hearty laugh and story telling. She loved gardening, growing her own herbs and veggies and experimenting in the kitchen. Her awesome dill potato salad was always requested at our family gatherings. Being the "artsy" type, we have many treasured mementos of pottery, paintings and wind chimes. She will be sorely missed by all whose life she touched.
Caroline is survived by children Thorin and Adelin; mother, Rebecca Ballard (Rod Sheridan), father, Randy Ballard (Kate); brothers, Brian, Ben and Brandon (Bre'anin) Ballard; grandparents, Bruce and Betty Ballard, Marilyn Marmon and significant other Brendan Jason, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at noon at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 1730 E. Grand River Avenue, East Lansing. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.greastlansing.com.
