Lansing resident, Carolyn Gowens, died of natural causes on April 15, 2013. She is survived by her son, Edward Gowens. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 22, 3:00 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Lansing Rd., Lansing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
