Born, May 11, 1925 to Floyd and Ruby Kilgore in Bevier, Missouri. She passed away December 27, 2010 at the age of 85. Doris worked 25 years as the secretary of Mayflower Congregational Church and 30 years for Ernst and Young as an Executive Secretary. Doris enjoyed bowling, golf and loved sewing, knitting and family gatherings with her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone that knew her knew that she was the “macaroni and cheese” queen. She is survived by her son, Terry D. (Sharon) Graham of Lansing; grandchildren, Ryan (Marcie) and Michael (Amy) Graham; great-grandchildren, Tieson, Tieler, Trace, and Jaxson Graham.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 30th at 11:00 a.m. at Mayflower Congregational Church, 2901 W. Mt. Hope Ave, Lansing with Rev. Dr. Rick Martin. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 29th, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing.
