"Mrs" Barr was alsways warm and welcoming to me and my family, and her home was a pleasure to explore.  I am thankful for the many good memories I hold.  Love to all of the Barrs.

Dorothy and Bill welcomed us warmly into the family,not just as in-laws.we shared many a happy "occasion" in their company.
Now it's a sad one,lit by bright memories.

Dave,   So sorry to see your mom has passed. I remember meeting her many years ago when we were both in high school. What a kind lady she was. Take care.

Dear Family of Dorothy Barr -
Although I have not seen Dottie in many years, I have wonderful memories of her.  We were both sisters in Alpha Phi and worked in the Alumnae Chapter and the House Corporation Board together.  She was a beautiful and talented musician.  She entertained our Alum group with many delightful concerts.  She was a very hard and dedicated worker.  Every time I enter the Alpha Phi House, I think of her.
I send my deepest sympathy to Dottie's Family.  She is and will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

David, your mom sounds like she was a wonderful woman, loved by many, and especially by her family.  Having raised a son like you, she left the legacy of a loving man and a dear and loyal friend.
