Elvira Eyia passed away Friday, December 10, 2011 in Lansing at the age of 92. She was born in Havana, Cuba the daughter of Miguel and Elvira (Sendin) Bartolome. She married Miguel R. Eyia and he preceded her in death in 1993. Elvira is survived by her daughter, Patricia Pecora of Kalamazoo, son, Michael A. (Kathleen) Eyia of Haslett, 5 grandchildren: Jody Lynn, Vincent, Dominic, Michael and Matthew and sister, Nilda Bartolome of Cuba. A graveside service for Elvira will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 2520 W. Willow Hwy, Lansing at 1:00 P.M. The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing.
