Gary Lee Johnson

Gary Lee Johnson, age 75, passed away on June 21st, 2021. Gary was born on February 5th, 1946 to Roy and Josephine (Hull) Johnson, and was raised in Hermansville, MI. Gary was married to Marilyn (St. Juliana) Johnson and in 1978 welcomed a son together, Eric.

Gary is preceded in death by his father Roy; mother, Josephine (Jo) and beloved dogs Pete and Sam.

Gary worked over 30 years to retire from General Motors in Bay City, MI as the Human Resource Development Manager. He had many hobbies such as sailing, wood working, classic cars, and making maple syrup in the upper peninsula with his family and friends.

He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, infectious smile, kindness, and generosity.

He is survived by his son Eric; daughter-in-law, Erin; grandchildren, Christopher, Makayla; many close cousins, and best friends Dennis Jones and Bert Green.

A celebration of life will take place at Lake Mary with close friends and family at a later date.
