Murray was predeceased by his parents, Lewis and Jane Comer, and his brother-in-law Harvey Sugarman.
For over 40 years, he worked in the adhesives industry, where his natural charm, integrity, and genuine care for people made him not only a great salesman but also a trusted partner and friend to many colleagues and customers. Murray was also a U.S. Army veteran.
Murray had an incredibly generous spirit and lived his life helping others — whether family, friends, or anyone who needed a hand. He was one of those rare people who made everyone around him feel special. Known for his quick wit and easy charm, he brightened every room he entered and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
A lifelong sports fan, Murray loved cheering for the USC Trojans and the Cleveland Browns. He also had a deep passion for golf, especially his time on the course with his son, Mike, and his friends in the beloved golf league, “The Nooners.” Those afternoons with friends brought him immense joy and laughter.
Murray will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and the countless ways he made life better for those lucky enough to know him.
