Jenny was born to, and survived by, her loving parents Lawrence and Barbara (Francis) Fata on January 11th, 1972 in Lansing Michigan. She graduated from Lansing Catholic High School (90’) and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. She greatly enjoyed being part of a large extended family and was loved dearly by the many friends she developed throughout her too-short life.
Jenny is survived by her husband, Scott Albert Norman, and her three children, Jack Adam Norman, Elizabeth Francis Norman and Natalie Grace Norman. Jenny cherished the life she built with Scott and she loved her children unconditionally and their happiness was the single most import thing. Her devotion to helping Natalie navigate the challenges of Kleefstra Syndrome is a big part of her legacy.
Jenny is also survived by her siblings, Chris (Susan) Fata; Sheri (Chris) Kuhbander; and Mark Fata. Jenny loved her times with her siblings and their children at the cottage in Northern Michigan.
Jenny was close with, and is survived by, her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Norman and Lynne Norman as well as her brother-in-law, Adam (Jen) Norman and their children.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 7th at St. Thomas church in East Lansing with visitation at 10:00am.
To accommodate those who may be traveling for spring break, a Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 12th at the Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, MI from 1-4pm with a short tribute to Jenny at 2pm.
