Our family was so sad to hear of Joe’s passing.  He was such a sweet guy and always had such a nice smile and kind word.  

 Our love and prayers are with all of you as you go through this difficult loss.

I'm so sorry to hear about Joe's untimely passing! I knew him when he did maintenance work at St. Gerard Church on Sundays a few years ago. He was so friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him.  May he rest in peace.  My prayers are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.

Joe was always a good friend growing up in the Holmes Street School neighborhood, attending Walter French Jr High and Eastern.   Joe would always smile and even after I moved away and visited he would always say hello.   Had some great times growing up and hanging out at Holmes Street basketball courts.    Rest in Peace Joe!!!

I was so sorry and saddened to hear about Joe. He was a kind, caring and gentle person. Every time I would see him he would ask about our family. He sure will be missed but never forgotten.

It was beautiful obituary and pictures of Joe V ( I always called him that).  Joe V was always so kind and thoughtful.  He was one of a kind.  He was part of our family and we will miss him dearly.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult loss.  He went home to see his parents and God.

I lived in the same neighborhood as Joe many years ago (Holmes Street School), I remember that Joe never seemed to be anything other than happy and kind towards everyone. As kids you sometimes experience some pretty cruel things from other kids at times, it was always the opposite with him. God bless his soul.

Joe was such a kind soul! While we were cousins, I always considered him as more of a brother. He had a heart of gold, and I could always count on a text from him with a new joke he had heard, or to kindly remind me that I needed to visit my uncle (who he  was helping to care for). He was always so good to my family and always made a point to look for us after church so he could share a smile and a laugh. He will be so missed.

To the family of Joe.   We would talk and text everyday.  When Ray let me know on Tuesday that Joe passed away it was a shock.  Joe was family to the Dionise's.  He cared for our father.  I saw Joe 2 weeks ago and we had a nice talk.  God Bless.🙏
