Kenneth Allen Anderson

Kenneth served in the Army as a paratrooper in the Korean War. He loved to travel all around the world, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing his homemade wine with family and friends. Kenneth was a proud member of VFW#701, American Legion Post 269, The Moose, The Fraternal order of Eagles, and a lifetime member of The Mason’s #252. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Doris May (Nichols) and Harold Anderson, and sister Doris Ann Wilcox. Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving children Rod Anderson, Jan Hunt, Sue (Paul) Gondeck, Jerri Anderson Chenoweth (Chris), Heidi (Michael) Hopper, Travis Taylor, grandchildren Cami (Doug) Kocsis, Shelley (Gary) Algate, Angie (John) Barber, Melinda Beals, Taylor Hopper, Triton Taylor, Jennifer Beck, Jonathan Chenoweth, eight great grandchildren, brother Harold (Christa) Whitney Anderson, and sister Theone (Nas) Al-Ashari. The funeral service will be held Friday October 9, 2015 at 1pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home East Chapel, 1730 E. Grand River, East Lansing, Michigan 48823. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8pm at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service.
