It is so funny and so strange how I met this beautiful genuine caring spirit his name was Ky☺️ One day at a East Lansing track meet is where I completely fell in love with this boy and it was like something magical I’ve never connected with anybody in my life the way I connected with Ky... and to find out that he died two days after my birthday and I didn’t even get a chance to get to know him even better and hang out with him it hurt so bad. I don’t know if anyone has ever watch the movie hotel Transylvania. In the movie people only “zink” and basically that’s like you meeting the person that you were supposed to meet that supposed to be in your life for the rest of your life because the bond❤️ did that. Every day even to this day I still find myself thinking about Ky and what we could’ve been what I could’ve been for him... 😞 I don’t care if he was never able to love me because I love him😭 We literally did every same event and same races that day he thought I was following him LOL I told him I just thought that It was very very weird that we were doing the exact same races in the exact same events it was like we were meant to meet. He wanted to ask me to prom but I lived in Jackson and I knew my dad wouldn’t let me go with some guy he doesn’t know that’s in the 12th grade and I’m only in the ninth grade. But he skipped a grade and I got held back so we were really only two years apart. If I could ever say though that I “zinked” with someone it was Ky me and him shared such a deep connection we were literally in each other’s dream. He’s such a charming dreamy spirit, I miss him so much and regret not going to the ends to try to be with him❤️He picked me up like a princess and twirled me around made me feel like a Queen honestly ... I fell in love like in that moment. I dedicate the song Next Lifetime by Erykah Badu 🎶 🎧 to Ky Brown... I love you baby imma see you again in our next lifetime.... 

Kyshaun, I hope you're doing well in heaven man. Drumming with you on drumline and in percussion was a blast, I'll miss you.

I remember meeting you for the 1st time at Michigan Adventures you made me laugh so hard i told your mom thats my boy for life. You and your brothers are truly the joys of your parents heart.  It's your turn to watch over them from above. Rest peacefully

I know we’ve not seen each other in a while Nephew but the BIG smile and the gentleness was always the same. Kyshaun was at the hospital with me when I had my son Keenan in 1999. They became very close friends. He will truly be missed by my family. The memories will last forever..until we meet again in heaven...Love you Ky

You were truly light of class ‘14 you brought us joy and happiness and never made anyone seem like they didn’t belong. Your light made others happy and caused an immense amount of love. Truly down to earth and looking back at our high school photos and your post in my yearbook makes my heart hurt and I hope we did not fail you in any way, please continue to bless us and keep shining. My dear little cousin...I remember him when he was a baby. This news is so sudden and sad.  We (his mom, my oldest sister Qeetoya, and myself) went to eat at Panderosa when he was months old. We got full and joked around lol! Not to mention the times being around him and Demarco when visiting Kecia, and or when we babysat them for a little while. Really miss those days and wish I could get them back. RIP Kyshaun❤.



I remember when I lived in Mt Morris, MI and Kesha Ann used to stop by with the boys and they would always make me laugh because they would say, hi Mr Bennie. I am in shock.  Family, you  are always in my heart and I will be praying for you. You have my deepest, dearest sympathy.  I love you all.  From your cousin, Clydie Powell
