Marie Anderson

Marie Christine Anderson, age 93, went to be with the lord on May 14, 2016. She is preceded in death by her brother John Anderson and niece Jan (Doten) Anderson. Marie is survived by her nephew; Larry Anderson of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Great nephews and nieces; Eric Anderson of Charlotte, North Carolina, Scott and Jennifer Andersen of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Tracy (Anderson) and Philip Maines of Fountain Inn, South Carolina, Kristina Doten of Cooksville, Tennessee , Karen (Doten) Atwell and Mike Atwell of Williamston, Michigan. One great-great niece Taylor Atwell, and one great-great nephew Chase Atwell. Marie retired as an Accountant for the State Department of Social Services. She was a devoted member of the Webberville United Methodist Church and Trinity Church in Lansing. You could often find her doing crafts and stamping. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s name to Trinity Church, 3355 Dunckel Rd, Lansing, MI 48911. Funeral service will be held at Noon Friday, May 20, 2016 with a visitation 1 hour prior at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes in East Lansing, 1730 E Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI 48823. A private burial will follow.
