Mary Louise Bailey

Mary Louise Bailey was born on December 23, 1933 in Adrian, MI the daughter of the late Lawrence and Queen Hammond, and passed away on December 22, 2015 at the age of 81. Mary was a devoted Christian and a member at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Okemos, MI. She was very involved in prayer group and bible studies and she enjoyed her church family. Mary Louise also loved gardening and took great pride in her garden. Mary Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Philip T. Bailey; mother, Queen Louise Hammond; father, Lawrence Jay Hammond. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Kirk (Sue), Eric and Philip; daughter, Cathleen (Greg) Momeyer; grandchildren, Betsy, Jolie, Judith, Holly, Abigail, Joseph, Thomas, Ian, Peter, Nicholas, Alexis, and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Aria, Theo, Kyler, Dorothy, Carolee, and Gabriella; and sister, Virginia (Gerry)Emerson. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
