

Bob graduated from both University of Michigan (undergraduate) and Michigan State University (graduate) with a degree in Urban Planning. In addition to being a great husband, father, and grandfather, Bob worked as a mass transit planner for Michigan Department of Transportation. His career demonstrates a high level of dedication and longevity with over 40 years of service.
Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Sue Kuehne; his mother, Mildred Kuehne; and his father, Wilbert Kuehne. He is survived by two children, Kelley (Laurie Rozek) Kuehne and Kevin (Kirsten) Kuehne; and two grandchildren, Maxwell and Madelyn Kuehne.

Beaver Island was special to Bob where he spent most of his summers beginning in 1970 through the summer of 2023. He had great neighbors and entertained many friends and family. He will be remembered for his work ethic, persistence, and his interest in the lives of friends and family members. Bob and his wife Sue were married for nearly 56 years; a testament to their love.
Bob now joins Sue, at home with their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2026 from 5-8 PM at Gorsline Runciman East Chapel, 1730 E Grand River Ave., East Lansing, MI 48823. There will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2530 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, Grand Rapids MI 49507.
