Robert Richard Schlicher

Robert "Bob" Richard Schlicher was born on March 14, 1943 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Robert W. Schlicher, and passed away February 10, 2018 at the age of 74. Robert resided in Laingsburg all of his life, graduating from Laingsburg High School in 1962. He retired from Fisher Body in 1995 after 33 years of service. He was a member of MMOGTA, and loved to pull tractors. Robert loved the outdoors and all the activities that went with it.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda (1994) and his father, Robert (1993). Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Ileen; sons, Chad (Stacy) Schlicher, Mark (Diane) Schlicher; daughter, Karen Schlicher; stepchildren, Diana (Meisha) McNabb, Johanna (Roy) Johnson, Toni (Bill) Roan, Christina McCeery, Brian (Bridget) Nichols, Cindy (Bert) Leland, Jerry (Stacie) Stevens; special family members, Kaye, Brad, Brenda & Shelly and 15 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 11:00 AM, at Laingsburg United Methodist Church, 210 N. Crum Street, Laingsburg, MI 48848. The family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday, 2-4 PM and 1 hour prior to the service. Interment at Laingsburg Cemetery, Laingsburg, MI.
