Bobby E. Martin Sr

He was born June 17, 1950 in Peoria to Vesper and Violet (Pendergrass) Martin. He married Candy Taul Sep. 8, 2001 in Springfield, MO. She survives along with his mother of Creve Coeur, his children: William Martin of East Peoria, Bobby Martin, JR of Peoria, Bobby Martin, III at home, Dustin Emrick of Elmwood, Bobbie (Robert) McIrvin of East Peoria, Nancy (Gonzale) Baxin of Peoria, Pearl (Jose) Buico of Bloomington, eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, four brothers, and five sisters.

He was preceded in death by his father, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and his mother-in-law, Shirley Munson.

Bobby worked for Caterpillar, Inc.

Funeral services will be Friday March 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
