Brenda Stauffacher Brewster

Brenda was born on December 18, 1950 in Normal, IL to Larry and Lorraine (Lovett) Stauffacher. She married Henry Brewster on July 27, 1968 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in East Peoria.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Henry; her son, Troy Brewster of Janesville, WI; her two grandbabies, Darin and Sydni Brewster; one brother, Wayne Henson of East Peoria, IL; one sister, Mary (Grover) Wise of Peoria, IL; her brother-in-law, Fred (Carol) Brewster of Manito, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Josette Brewster; her parents; one brother, Dennis and one sister, Barbara.

Brenda had worked in the Records Department at the Tazewell County Court House as well as for the Jubilee Market in Germantown Hills. She was a member and, for a time, Treasurer for St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Brenda enjoyed sewing in her younger years and she loved her grandbabies! She was always there when someone needed a helping hand.

Services will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11am at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in East Peoria. Pastor Kurt Mews will be officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5pm to 7pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials may be made to the church. Online condolences may be made through www.remmertfuneralhome.com
