Brenda Quickle

She was born April 2, 1944 in Cobden, IL to Lee and Minnie (Hale) Clover. She was married to Harold McKinney for 30 years. She later married Dennis Quickle. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; son, Jeffrey McKinney; grandson, Nicholas Rogers; 2 brothers, Bill and Gene; and 2 sisters, Lorna and Wilma.

Surviving are her 3 daughters, Gini (George) Ioerger of Bayview Gardens, Pamela (Kay) Rogers of East Peoria, Crystal (Scott) Scribner of Washington; 2 step-sons, Kevin and Dale Quickle; significant other, David Hoback; 10 grandchildren, Emma, Jessica, Lauren, Brett, Brittney, Aaron, Andrew, Chloe, Blake, Bailey; her 7 great-grandchildren who called her GG; and her dogs, Butchie and Lucy.

Brenda worked at Lakeview Cleaners from 1983 to 1985 and at Biehl’s Cleaners from 1985 to 1999 before retiring.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 12, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Funeral Services will follow at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Cremation will be accorded following services with burial of ashes at Spring Bay Cemetery at a later date.
