Brinda G. Duckworth

She was born on July 7, 1949 in Moulton, AL to Arva and Hazel (Roden) Smith. She married Steven Duckworth on August 20, 1983 in Peoria, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her husband, Steven of East Peoria, her children, Tommy Enoch Jr. of Murfreesboro, TN, Cathy E. (Ronnie) Robbins of Paris, TN, Steffanie (Jay) Ulm of Farmington, and Eric (Katie) Duckworth of East Peoria. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Blake, Blair, Jameson, Alyssa, Ethan, Abigail, Isabella, Mikayla and Eric Jr., one brother, Roger (Donna) Smith of Pekin, one sister, Linda (Tom) Merritt of Robertsdale, AL and one half-brother, Randy Smith of Morton, IL.

Brinda worked in Customer service for Risinger Brothers Transfer in Morton, IL for many years before retiring in 2002. Brinda loved camping, cooking and spending time with her family.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial visitation will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4 to 6 pm at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Stroke Foundation.
