

She was born on March 20, 1950 in Dayton, Ohio to Paul and Betty (Haworth) Mann. She married Harold Harris on February 26, 1985 in Lompoc, California. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Elliott Harris, Tim (Kristine Kelley) Harris, Maggie (Sean) Baker, Nikki and her spouse and children; grandchildren, Chase, Arianna, Laura and Carter; and sister, Linda Schneider.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Mark Mann.
Carol was a proud graduate of Wilbur Wright High School in Dayton, Ohio. She went on to work in Logistics for NASA in California. She was there when the Challenger exploded, and even bought parts for it. She later worked for Getz Fire Equipment where she retired in 2014.
Carol's top priority was her family, she loved them dearly. She also was a collector of different knick-knacks, flamingos, lighthouses, trinket boxes, and figurines. When she was younger she enjoyed traveling to Maine and Florida with her family.
A visitation for Carol will be held at Remmert Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 4-6pm. Her funeral service will be held at Remmert Funeral Home Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 10am, with an additional visitation to start an hour prior at 9am. Burial will take place at Fondulac Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to TAPS (Tazewell Animal Protective Society) Animal Shelter in Pekin.
